Fandom Announces New Sales Leadership Team

Sean Kearney, Tamara Berkhaug and Allison Mellon Join Fandom to Lead Global Client Partnerships Across Gaming & Entertainment

Lindsey Steck Promoted to Vice President of Client Partnerships for Non-Endemic Accounts

San Francisco, CA - May 6, 2024 - Fandom today announced a new leadership structure for its revenue organization:

  • Sean Kearney comes to Fandom as Senior Vice President of Client Partnerships, overseeing the U.S., Canada and LATAM sales organization

  • Tamara Berkhaug joins Fandom as Vice President of Client Partnerships with a focus on the gaming industry

  • Allison Mellon joins the company as Vice President of Client Partnerships with oversight of partnerships across the entertainment industry

  • Lindsey Steck has been promoted to Vice President of Client Partnerships focused on government, technology, telecom and financial services accounts

These executives round out the existing sales leadership team alongside Tori Samson, Vice President of Client Partnerships overseeing CPG, Restaurants, Retail, Auto, Insurance and DTC accounts, and Jeremy Steinberg, Chief Revenue Officer at Fandom.

In his role, Kearney will be responsible for the sales strategy, development and implementation in the Americas and LATAM regions, including oversight of all client partnerships, emerging markets, as well as sales operations, planning and execution. Kearney brings a wealth of experience leading high performing sales teams at the intersection of media, data and programmatic advertising, as well as driving AI creative adoption and evolving data offerings from his previous senior leadership roles at The Weather Company, and IBM.

Berkhaug has been tapped to oversee Fandom’s gaming sales team, where she will develop comprehensive, insight-driven client strategies for all gaming partnerships. Before joining Fandom, Berkhaug held a senior role at Snap Inc. where she built the gaming vertical and oversaw some of the company’s largest gaming partnerships, such as Electronic Arts, Sony PlayStation, AT&T, Proctor and Gamble, Meta and Sony Entertainment. Prior to Snap Inc., Berkhaug served as a national client partner for Meta/Facebook.

Mellon will lead the entertainment sales team where she will focus on expanding partnerships across streaming, TV, and film accounts. She brings 20 years of digital entertainment experience to Fandom, previously serving as Head of Gaming and Entertainment for Enthusiast Gaming where she delivered compelling client campaigns featuring gaming talent, custom solutions, esports tournaments and gaming-inspired media. She also held senior roles as Head of Entertainment at Loaded and Senior Vice President of Business Development at Moviepass. Prior she led the entertainment team at Fandango/NBC Universal and during her tenure represented a variety of brands in NBC Universal’s digital portfolio.

Lindsey Steck has been promoted to Vice President of Client Partnerships leading non-endemic partnerships focused on government, technology, telecom and financial services. Previously, she was the regional director of east coast sales for Fandom since 2022 and has been part of the sales organization since 2015 with prior roles held at Amazon, Starcom and Publicis Groupe.
