Fandom Appoints Jason Tollestrup as Vice President of Revenue Strategy & Operations

Former Washington Post Executive to Lead Revenue Growth Strategies for Fandom’s Portfolio of Brands

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – December 5, 2023 - Fandom, the world’s largest fan platform, is expanding its sales leadership team with the appointment of Jason Tollestrup as Vice President, Revenue Strategy and Operations. In this role, he will develop and implement comprehensive strategies to maximize Fandom’s global advertising revenue across all of the company’s owned and operated channels and platforms including Fandom.com, GameSpot, TV Guide, and Metacritic. Tollestrup is based in Washington D.C. and will report to Jeremy Steinberg, Chief Revenue Officer at Fandom.

As VP of Revenue Strategy & Operations, Tollestrup will use data driven insights to establish pricing and yield management strategies to drive revenue growth. Additionally, he’ll be responsible for the growth of programmatic channels, creating impactful revenue forecasts, monitoring performance against short and long-term targets, and enhanced sales processes.

Tollestrup is a seasoned industry leader with extensive experience in programmatic advertising and data & addressability solutions. He spent over a decade in various senior sales positions at the Washington Post, most recently as VP of Programmatic Strategy and Yield. He’s also held senior roles at BlueVolt, an online learning platform and Hewlett-Packard. Tollestrup also serves on the board at PreBid.
