Scott Cherkin Named General Manager, Fandom Media; Todd Nash is Elevated to General Manager at E-Commerce Site Fanatical

San Francisco, CA – May 14, 2025 – Today, Fandom announced the continued expansion of its executive team as the company continues to grow to meet the needs of its users, creators and industry partners. These distinguished leaders join Fandom’s executive team as the platform expands its reach and enhances its commitment to delivering a best-in-class experience for its almost 350 million monthly users and roster of high profile partners including TV, film and gaming studios.
Scott Cherkin has been named the General Manager of Fandom Media, where he oversees the day-to-day operations of Fandom’s brands GameSpot, Metacritic, and TV Guide, as well as video production across Honest Trailers and Screen Junkies.
Todd Nash has been promoted to General Manager at Fanatical, where he leads the growth and expansion of Fanatical, Fandom’s market-leading online video game retailer.
Caroline Mendes joins Fandom as Vice President of Client Partnerships, overseeing Fandom’s partnerships with top enterprise brands.
Jeffrey Turner comes to the company as Vice President of Product Management Monetization, responsible for the strategic direction, vision, and execution of Fandom’s ad products and solutions.

In this newly created role reporting to Fandom CEO Perkins Miller, Cherkin will develop comprehensive strategies that ensure GameSpot, Metacritic, Screen Junkies and TV Guide continue to deliver high-quality, innovative content and platform experiences that resonate with fans. He’ll also collaborate with the company’s advertising, marketing, product and engineering teams to drive consistent growth and maximize the value of each brand. Prior to Fandom, he served as a consultant for media and adtech companies specializing in SEO development, CRM, social, and first party data strategies, as well as business development and M&A. He was also previously the Senior Vice President of Global Audience Strategy at Warner Music Group and a key architect of Complex Networks’ explosive audience and revenue growth.
In his elevated role as General Manager of Fanatical, Nash oversees the company’s global business and day-to-day operations. Reporting into Regine Weiner, Fandom’s Senior Vice President of Community and Commerce, he leads the growth and expansion of Fandom’s e-Commerce channel, as well as operational activities that continue to position Fanatical as a leader in gaming retail. Nash will also leverage Fandom’s 350 million monthly users and its gaming properties including GameSpot and Metacritic to drive revenue and further market expansion. He has over a decade of experience at Fanatical across its commercial and social/community teams.
Mendes, reporting to Sean Kearney, Fandom’s Senior Vice President of Client Partnerships, is responsible for driving overall revenue growth, building strategic client and agency relationships, and guiding a high-performing global sales team. With a primary focus on top enterprise brands, Mendes will also develop comprehensive, insight-driven client strategies. Prior to joining Fandom, Mendes served as the Head of Sales at Spotify (AMP). She’s also held sales roles at tech platform Outbrain, Disney, and Univision Interactive Media.
In his role reporting to Peter Mansour, Fandom’s Chief Product Officer, Turner will define and execute the product vision and strategy for Fandom’s advertising and monetization platform. By developing and maintaining a deep understanding of market trends, user needs, and competitive landscape, he’ll drive the creation of innovative advertising solutions and new ad types that enhance user experience and maximize revenue opportunities. Prior to Fandom, he led product management at Axios Media and has held senior roles at The Washington Post, Verizon Media, and HuffPost. His work has been published in AdExchanger, Business Insider, and Digiday, and he authored multiple U.S. patents for digital advertising technologies.
