Fandom & The Game Awards Partner to Host "GameSpot's Countdown to the Game Awards" on December 12
Two-Hour Pre-Show Will Feature Exclusive Content, Talent Interviews & Special Guest Appearances to Kick-Off the Gaming Industry’s Biggest Night of the Year
SAN FRANCISCO, CA – November 20, 2024 – Fandom, the world's largest fan platform, has partnered with The Game Awards to host GameSpot’s Countdown to The Game Awards, a live pre-show event on Thursday, December 12 at 2:30pm PT. Fandom’s GameSpot and Giant Bomb gaming experts will be front and center streaming live on GameSpot’s YouTube channel outside of Downtown Los Angeles’ Peacock Theater, capturing the excitement of The Game Awards, and bringing fans - both in person and at home - two hours of programming featuring a lineup of guests including game developers, celebrities, and influencers.

And that’s not all. On Wednesday, December 11, the Giant Bomb team will gather for a special edition of GB @ Nite, LIVE! sponsored by Digital Extremes, the makers of Warframe and Soulframe. Hosted by Giant Bomb Video Producer Jeff Grubb and streamed live on GiantBomb’s YouTube and Twitch channels, this must-watch event will feature creative director Rebecca Ford and the voice actors of The Hex — a syndicate of peculiar heroes featured in the Warframe: 1999 update coming this December — as well as intimate conversations with well-known developers and other industry luminaries.
